I removed my rev counter, and found something rattling inside. This came out of the bulb hole. It would explain why it does not work. Is there anything that can be done?

Looks like a resistor to me.
Guess there must abe a small PCB inside the clock that it has become unsoldered from, if you can open the the clock you sholdl be able to see where it belongs and solder it back in.

There are photos of what it is inside . This is a type of components because sometimes they changed the components . But they work for the same result at the end .
