Brake pedal sport 77

Hello Morini experts:)

Was wondering how the brake pedal would normally mount. Does this look normal?
Do I need a special bolt with a spacer, to fit the brake pedal.

I think it should be flush then held by a bolt and washer.

Mine has a flat washer and bolt.

Mines a '77 Strada and it's the same as Gordon's apart from the washer being shinier!

I have to be honest and say I didn’t think it would come up that clean…..but that’s as far as I am going with it at the moment.

Does any of you know the depth of the mounting?
I got a brake pedal from a Strada. Wonder if it differs from the Sport model, other than being too long..

If this is the required measurement.
I measured mine at 27mm.

The bolt is M8x14 the washer M8x24 according to my parts list.
