Supercharged 350 Morini bumps the speed record 1 mph !!

Hello All in the UK,,,

Sorry that I had last minute issues and was not able to post the Live feed link from the racetrack.....

However, I do have a YouTube link to the full recording of the event !

Fast forward to about the 50 minute mark and you can see the Morini takeoff and then it switches to the finish line camera.

OMG, this is what it is like when there is no wind to clear away the dust between runs...
110 mph flat out inside a ping-pong ball.......

old record 109.9 mph and now it's 110.9 mph....

Starting motor was balking as the Student helper couldn't believe it still needed a tickle of Choke,,,,,,,, it had been running fine a few minutes earlier.

5 degree C temp will do that to an air cooled engine........

Carburetors are a "black art" to the student engineers of today.....

It is fun teaching them !
