Morning All
Quick question re clutch adjustment. I've set the operating lever at 15.5mm from the crankcase by releasing the locknut and adjusting the screw.
My question is, does the locknut come up firm against the operating lever? Or up firm against the crankcase?
It was up against the crankcase but in this position the lever will move around when the clutch cable doesn't tension it. Is this normal or should the locknut come up firm against the operating lever to make the lever itself firm?
I hope that makes sense!
Thanks
Martin

Re: Clutch adjustment
Hi,
It tightens against the crankcase. The outer cover keeps the lever in line. That is why the lever realistically needs a rubber boot at the top to stop it rattling in the case.
Regards, George
