I am restoring a 1975 Moto Morini 3-1/2 Strada. The carbs are stock Dellorto VHB's and they have the threaded on manifolds to the cylinder heads. I am reinstalling a stock air filter box and have bought reproduction 3-1/2 rubber air box to carb boots from Startgomma.
I am missing the part that threads onto the carburetor air filter flange side that the rubber boot clamps on to. The VHB carb filter side threaded flange is 32mm O.D. and the rubber boot I.D. is 37mm. Does anyone have a part number or a picture of what this piece is? I can't find any mention of the part in the Moto Morini Riders Club reproduction parts manual for the 3-1/2.
I could probably make up some adapters out of delrin on my lathe but if these pieces are available I would liek to purhase a pair.
Thanks
Jim

Have a look here: https://www.dellorto.fr/fr/carburateurs ... -vhbz.html
I think you are looking at part number 54, which is shown as costing €4.40 - and they are in stock!

Hi Jim,
I have a couple of spare carbs here and may have those adapters, will check later today.

Sounds obvious and you may have already tried them, but the uk del'orto place in Pangbourne might be a good starting point.

I got all the carb parts from Eurocarb and Mdina Italy today, all back together now, thanks again for the links

I found the aluminum manifold mating surfaces to be quite warped, I flat sanded them on glass with 200 grit

talk about belt and suspenders two gaskets, two O rings and an insulator

Anyways the carbs are fully rebuilt with new jets, atomizer, needle and fuel needle plus rubber boots to air filter, hopefully the bike will run right
