Speedometer ratio?
Does anyone know the "ratio" of the speedometer of a 3 1/2 Strada? I have a new-old-stock Veglia (mph) speedometer that I'd like to use on my project bike, but I'm not sure it's the correct ratio. It's marked: "1610 REV.s = 1M" on the back side. Thanks.

1610 metres in one mile, so I imagine that Veglia work from that for the mph speedo.

Re: Speedometer ratio?
My friend Jarl checked his and the answer, yes, original and my "generic" Veglia are the same ratio.
One less piece to buy.

Re: Speedometer ratio?
Surely this depends on the ratio in the wheel drive? One revolution of the cable drive should be 1 metre travelled?
