Early Strada top Yoke
Ive got one, that has two massive holes in the top and no means of attaching a handlebar; clearly different from later Strada Marzocchi top yoke that is solid and had the handlebar half-clamps cast in.
Are these holes original? - would they have had some kind of rubber-mounting bar-clamp arrangement in?
If so has anyone got the missing parts for me?!

Hello,
Yes, rubber mounts.
No, I do not have the parts, but wish I did @60 to 70 mph!
Mike.

The three top yokes I know. I´m not sure if the ones with the rubber mounts are Paioli, but I don´t think so.
Yours surely was used with clip ons like a sport. I´ll have a look wether I´ve got a pair of that mountings, but there will be only a very little chance.

Re: Early Strada top Yoke
If it is an early Strada the holes will be tapered to the centre from top and bottom to take four rubber mountings for the handlebar clamps. These mountings are unobtainable now but I made up my own. If you check out my post Handlebar Mounting Rubbers in this forum you will see what I did.
Re: Early Strada top Yoke
Hi Simon, my '75 drum Strada has Paioli forks and yes, the rubber-bushed handlebar clamps go through the large holes in the top yokes. I can't post pictures on here but if you want some, PM me your email address and I'll send you a couple. No actual clamps though...

Or, the illustrated parts book has the Paioli set-up on page 38. If you haven't already got one, we've just had some more printed, available through the Products section on this site.

Re: Early Strada top Yoke
Like a couple of others said, those top clamps are Paioli.
Re: Early Strada top Yoke
hi Simon,
this is a Paioli top yoke:

and this ia a Marzocchi:

and its handlebar clamp:

In case you don't manage to get a pair, you can consider of have them done.

Othervise you can use Kanguro handlebar holders.
(what i did with my '73 Strada before getting the proper ones)
