Perhaps some West coast USA rider will have seen my old 3 1/2 which was last seen in a Hunter's Point, SF, warehouse, in the early 90s, languishing between a Norton Atlas and an R69s.
Frame was Porsche Guards Red, all fastners hollowed, dished, and nickel plated, seven gallon Bartel alloy tank, clipons & rearsets made by me. Some kind of magnesium Brembo racing caliper on the front and on the rear the drum was lightened and had a scoop. Borranis.
White Veglia rev counter and old 50s Italian headlamp with speedo in the shell. Cast alloy Ducati headlamp brackets.
I imagine it has been scrapped by now but I sure would like to see the ol girl again.

Speakin of thos eold days I remember with what enthusiasm I used to await the UK club mag in the mail.
Also remember that in SF I met a guy who had a pair of 65mm bore DOHC water cooled heads from some Japanese dirt bike that he was affixing to his 3 1/2 Sport. He had converted the chain sprockets on the heads to belt pulleys.
Interesting machine, wonder if anyone's ever heard of it being completed?
