Hi all.
I have read here a few times that the nature of the engine means that it can't kick back when starting.
In 15 years ownership of my K1 I'd agree, but it's a common occurrence on my recently acquired early sport.
To be honest I haven't done a whole lot to find out why yet but any ideas would be appreciated.
Cheers, Mark.
Kick starting.
Re: Kick starting.
The original ignition system as a lot of retard at kick over speed
maybe yours as a after market system or very over advanced timing
but to be so far advanced I would expect it to pink when pulling anything
like hard.

Thanks for the ideas Ralph.
The transducers certainly don't look original so it could be that.
I'll check the carbs and timing first and see how I go.
Cheers, Mark.

Re: Kick starting.
If you can post a photo of the transducers, you're sure to get the right advice.
