EVguru you are so right about how waiting to shift at Bonneville helped Jari post better speeds....I watched his run logs closely during that week.
I think that when I say the motor "falls off a cliff " it is because I have trained myself over a long time at the dragstrip to be hyper sensitive to any drop in thrust.,,, As soon as I feel anything,,,, I shift . That creates a base-line that I can work from by shifting by the tach (adjusting up/down) to find the sweet spot that drops the rpm back to the next gear just right to create the lowest ET....
Here is the dyno chart of my K-2 as recieved in OEM form and tune... The numbers are textbook correct from the info I have on K2's.
