Rear light replacement

Hi folks I have replaced a chrome tail light with one of the black pattern jobs but it really isn't up to the job. The springs on the contacts are weak and won't stand the heat from soldering.
I have seen some Morinis with a smaller oval light. Is it from a Land Rover? Does anybody know about this, and where to get one?

Not sure about oval shape, but perhaps look at the Vehicle Wiring Products website,they have Land Rover /BMC type in their range or try this link :
