Has anyone any experience of the adapters to convert kmh to mph?

The problem I find is the kmh dials means most of the speedo is unused and trying to discern your speed is difficult. eg 50mph is where 30mph would be on an mph speedo.

Better to mark up the speedo and live with the kilometres on the odometer in my opinion.

I have a 240Mph speedo when changing from MPH to KPH on the 1200, as I guess you did on the Milano, can the factory change it, apparently not.
I vote for marking it up or add a GPS speedo or use a phone.

Yes, the Molano was a pain, it was hard seeing if you were doing 32 or 36, the differebeing points and a fine.

The Milano speedo is made by Aim and is programmable. There is an app that can be downloaded. The Corsaro has a digital speedo.

Decided to put marks on the speedo. So did a bit of maths to scale the mph to kmh and printed in some inkjet OHP film (printed reversed so the print is behind the film). Just annoyed I couldn't get bright colours to show up so ended up with it just in black.

I love the idea of using OHP film. Have you seen this 3D printed convertor yet? viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5970 it is another approach that obscures less of the rest of the speedo face.

Didn't have a photo when I saw that post. Yes looks better. More CAD work and printing for me when I get time then!

So the OHP print succumbed to the rain, the printing blurred and the film started to degrade. After a rethink I have produced a 3D printed version. and then painted and lacquered. Not sure if I need to fiddle with the font and size of the numbers. Hopefully a better solution.

That reminds me, must get my 2C speedo conversion sorted. Would you be interested in printing one for a new friend?
