250C K1/K2?

This 250C has rear seat/tail sections similar to the K1 or even K2 350's, anyone know if it was a factory model, I've never come across one in this trim before?

I have a 250 2C that NLM dated as 1982 which has similar angular 'bodywork' and high bars. That was imported as a barn find from Spain. Several photos of similar style 250s if you search Google images.

Thanks for those replies - there is very little out there on the 250, I've now found a few images of that model, but I can only find 1 Road Test -in Mick Walkers book, surely one of the main Bike mags tested the 250C?

A 250 2C was tested by 'Which Bike'. In fact it was the very same 1980 machine that I still have after buying it in 1982 from Hollywood Yamaha (now with a 375 engine). I used to have a copy. Probably still do somewhere. I looked in vain for it on here:

I'm sure my red wee vee was on the cover. So perhaps on one of the months they don't have.
A search on Ebay shows it was featured in the October 1980 issue of 'Bike' so perhaps it was in 'Which Bike' the same month.
