They do crash well!

Post by Parker3865 »

If you have seen my post about travelling to the Founders Day event, then you will know I came a cropper on a greasy roundabout. The 250 got off a lot better than me!

Any suggestions for polishing out the scratches in the silencer? I have some ideas, but don't want to make it worse!

As good as can be. Fractured collar bone means some months of recovery before I am riding again, though.

Sorry to hear that you took a tumble, I have done collarbones not the best, but hopefully you are well on the way to a full recovery.

Sorry to hear the problem. BUGGER !

I think polishing the silencers will be futile. Think of all the money you are saving whilst housebound and you could buy new silencers!

Personally I would not buy UK manufactured ones stainless or otherwise. www.motostoricheitaliane.com is the place to go, but they may not be in stock currently. Better still source a NOS set...you would be surprised what comes up with patience.

Thanks Arthur. No idea where the silencers originated, they came from Ian Lucas. I may just have to live with scratches, but I think I will try and take the sharpness off.
