Have a seat base, just wandering whether to diy the foam and cover or pay someone.

Re: 250 rebuild from bits
Glad the Morini Riders Club were able to help you with getting this registered.
For anyone who doesn’t know, providing dating certificates and registration advice is (quite generously) a free service the club offers, and there are probably 100 more Morinis on UK roads so far as a a result.
Richard, looks like you’ve done a great job of resorting your 250. Look forward to meeting you and seeing it at a club event sometime!

Yes, much help from Arthur, the club registrar, with the NOVA and registration process. Very detailed instructions and much clear guidance through the process.

And now with re-foamed and covered seat. Don't tell my daughter, I used her sewing machine. Hope my stitching is good enough!

Re: 250 rebuild from bits
Very nicely done; and from my perspective, if the seat is comfortable when you're riding the bike then it's plenty good enough. It looks similar to the seat on my Kanguro X (that someone else recovered) and that's worked well and been super comfortable for the last 4 years of riding including up to 20 hours in 24 (for the 2024 MCC Lands End Challenge).
I look forward to seeing you at the MRC Rally and/or out on the road very soon.

Re: 250 rebuild from bits
Update - 528 miles and generally running well:
Oil changed and filter cleaned at 350 mile.
Footrests and handlebars adjusted to make it more comfortable.
(viewtopic.php?f=37&t=5178).
Idle jets adjusted.
Tyre pressures finally sorted.
Last run it felt a bit vibraty, found one of the front frame engine mounting bolts missing. Oops! So new bolt and locktite. Weirdly only the 2 short bolts were loose, not the ones through the engine.
Onwards and upwards.

It has taken a while, life and the time it takes to edit a video, but finally:-
"Good Enough Productions" in association with "That'll Do Editing" presents:

A final rebuild video for my Moto Morini 250 2c; A summary of the work done to get it back on the road.
