I am rebuilding my 250 2c Paoili forks. Even with new stanchions I have too much play in the left hand (brake) leg. Does anyone have a spare LH leg complete, or just the aluminium lower, that I could buy?
OR are there alternative forks that fit? Either legs in existing yokes, or a complete assembly? Will 350/500 marzocchis with yokes fit?
See my previous post for progress with rebuilding the forks.

Looking for a new LH fork leg
Morini 250 2c rebuilt from a box of bits.
Re: Looking for a new LH fork leg
Hi,
The part number is 42.09.03, I think this is the same as used on disk brake 125H. I don't have a 125 manual to hand.
Did you give Mdina a call - not everything is on the website.
Just out of curiosity what size tubes did you buy, the Paiolis used on Moto Morinis are 31.75mm ( i.e standard 1 1/4 in)
Never heard of wear in these 250 legs before.
Most other Morinis use 35mm so won't fit.
May be there is a small Aprillia or Cagiva set that could work.
I have used an old Yamaha 125 front end, I cant remember which one though , on a 250 2C but that was 30 years ago
Cheers
Mark

Re: Looking for a new LH fork leg
Been in touch with Mdina and no luck. Yes have the correct size stanchions (new from Mdina). Thanks for comments, will keep looking. Have seen forks for the Benelli/Guzzi TS250 which look like they may fit.
Lots of corrosion on the internals, pitting on the inside of the fork sliders. I think they have been stored for years with damp internals.

Re: Looking for a new LH fork leg
Another club member has sourced some replacement fork legs for me, in better condition than mine. So repaint and then reassembly happening now.
