I am loathe to get rid really as it can't a common bike anymore, 501 and all. I may persevere next winter with engine and see where I get. If only it was electric start. I seem to remember you telling me you had an idea to do it yourself, but for some reason turned against it.Steve Brown wrote:Hi George, once the engine/bike is ridden any distance the cases will all get warm enough to clean out the worst of it. Just ticking it over won't really clear much of it off-in my opinion anyway.
Surprised to hear you had no interest in the Camel after all the refinishing you did on it? Maybe advertise it again now that spring is on it's way?
There must be a way to fit an after market device perhaps with fabricating the casing in some way. Anything is possible, just need the time, money and the expertise. Perhaps with all that It will get to the moon and wake up the little rabbit.
Having ridden it, it does all that it says on the can for an adventure bike.
