Hi Leonard.

It seems unlikely as the Corsaro exhaust exits forwards and between the frame downtubes. The 125H exhaust exits on the side and outboard of the frame downtubes.

Having said that, if you like, I could do some measurements of a Corsaro pipe tomorrow to see if it may be possible to use part of it to fashion a new down pipe. I've probably got a spare one available.

A 125 is half a 250 2c. could you modify a 250 2c front pipe to fit? Not sure if that is any easier or more available, just a thought.

Morini 125cc Corsaro exhaust downpipe.

Flange O.D. - 37.5mm.
Flange thickness - 2.0mm.
Pipe O.D. - 32mm.
Pipe I.D. - 28.5mm.

If you need to get one made, Den Tietze of Alldens in Market Rasen has a good reputation.

It sounds as though he would welcome the business...

Hi Jenny,

thanks for your reply and the measurements, from those it would not fit a 125H as you suggest. Armours can make me a pipe for around £200 or I will try Alldens although I did ask him to make a megaphone some years ago and he was too bust at that time. But maybe things have changed.

The reason I asked about a Corsaro exhaust was that there are several on eBay but none for a 125H, its always the case as there were some on there a few weeks ago. Its possible to pick up a complete engine or a frame, but exhausts only last perhaps 15 to 20 years so no wonder they are disappearing and buying a used one unless its new old stock would probably just compound the problem, a new pipe may be the best option, if it fits!

Best regards
Leonard.

Hi,

I tried a 350 pipe but the exhaust nut would not pass the first bend for some reason, I may look around for a 250 twin pipe or a 250 single pipe all options a re open!

A 250 single pipe will not fit - they are 35mm (that's if you could find one!).

Hi all,

thanks for the input, I have had the perforated section cut out and replaced with new pipe and welded in place, cannot see the join and the job is very neat, when its polished and triple plated again I'm sure it will look like new.

Regards
Leonard.

Sounds like a good result. Who did the work? Was it a professional company or just someone you heard of?
