Water pumps can be a bit noisy on Corsaros but I think mine is noisier than it was. Still functioning fine but keen to investigate before I have a problem.

Has anyone replaced the pump or bearings in the past? The manual talks about inspecting the impeller but no mention of any bearings and seals. Unless an impeller came loose on the shaft I can’t see how it would result in noise, and if it was loose then it wouldn’t be cooling properly.

By the looks of it to get to any bearings you’d have to remove the whole right hand side cover which means oil drain and possibly the pump drive gears coming out as well as new crankcase gaskets- seems like a whole load of work which would be nice to avoid unless strictly needed…

I know what you mean about them being noisy and yes sometimes they are noisier than other times. I put it down to cavitation and find that next time it'll be alright again.
