On the Corsaro what would people say is 'normal' oil consuption? After 700 miles (370 in one day) checking the oil level looked extremely low.

In 7000 miles on my corsaro I've never had to add any oil between normal services. It has started to breathe heavily on long high speed trips and the left engine case gets a fine misting but it's not used a noticeable amount of oil yet.

Stupid question but you have checked the oil as per the service book?

another unusual place for excessive oil consumtion is leakage past the water pump into the coolant.

rare , but not unheard of. Simple to check , just look for oil scum in the rad cap.

Was using Motul 7100 10w/60 with the correct specifications.
