At first greeting to all members.
I'm new to the forum and new owner of 07 corsaro with termis and race ecu. It has 11000km's.
Corsaro was bought a few weeks ago. First, it worked as it should. And then problems. The engine does not start at all. I can hear the fuel pump is running and turning of the engine when I turn the key. And thats all. I checked if there is a spark and that's working. I allso checked all the wiring and that's ok. The fuses are also ok. There is a new battery in the corsaro. I have read most of the topics and I see that others also have similar problems. What can I do?
New owner, old problem
Re: New owner, old problem
diagnostic on speedo first
kill switch off, hold button on dash down and switch ignition key on and then scroll on speedo button to diagnostics.
If no faults try adjusting idle speed using cable adjuster to see if that makes a difference with dry plugs.(Just to see if it wil start this way) If this doesn't work reset the slack freeplay in the cable.
Is it trying to fire or just cranking over?
why not download ducatidiag which will allow resetting of the tps as that is another thing less to fault find

Hi 'Skyliner'
First off - welcome to the MRC Forum - lets hope that you have a long and happy time with both your Morini and the MRC... If you're close to a club section, get along and meet a few other riders.
One of the early upgrades was to the steepr motors, which need to set correctly so that the engine picks up. It could be that you need to hold the throttle very slightly open (as opposed to leaving it to th eECU to set the position) so that the enhgine picks up. Check other posts to see if your bike has the upgrades - if it's been maintained by a Morini recognised dealer or 3X (or your local importer) have had input, these will / should have been done.
Let us know how you get on, and good riding!

Re: New owner, old problem
Hello again.
Corsaro is alive. Again. Looks like it was a problem with spark plugs. I replaced them with new ones. And I used some insulating tape and good old WD40. Isolated almost all cables and sprayed all the connectors that I could get to. I also replaced the front relays. Yesterday I got the cables I ordered, so now I can use ducatidiag. I would like to ask if someone can write or upload the setup for front and rear suspension (how many clicks for standard or race setup, etc). Since the previous owner did not send the documents of the bike. Thanks for this.
Regards, Ales
