comparing a red corsaro tailpiece with a ducati red front mudguard (ducati 620 monster) the paint was identical.
I just need to look at another ducati fender to double check as i had two guards one from a 620 monster and i think the other was from an 900 monster.
held up to the light i couldn't see any difference in colour match at all
Just need to have a look in sunlight to confirm
update
checked in natural daylight with both mudguards from the monsters and i couldn't tell the difference. If someone told me that the fender was from the morini i'd have believed them as there was no difference.
next step is to buy a touch bottle to confirm.

fancied a change of colour ,so started collecting parts.
makes me wonder if the silver that goes with the red is a ducati colour as well

That would be handy if they were the same.
Next question is, is the Corsaro red the same red as the 9 1/2?

i'll lend you a small infill panel to check , but only if i receive it right back

tried a touch up tin of ducati rosso red, looked very close in colour but i'll need to try blending in to a paint chip in an old part of i've got to see if it blends in.
Also had some ducati metalic silver from a multistrada 1000 which when painted on looks very similar, but again a touch up is thick and the spray version is thinner, so i'll try the same touch up with the paint , apply laquer to overfill and buff down with 2000 grade paper and polish up.
trouble is uv light tends to degrade older paint and makes a new patch look brighter.
