now morini is belly up if you need coils buell 1125's fit.
For about £20 odd pounds wrap one in sealed bag and hide on the bike for when you get the dreaded stutter miles from nowhere . same plug connections, just that they do not have the fly lead on them. Just make up one with a supaseal connector.
Reasonable prices online secondhand . A pair from states for about £45 delivered.coils
Re: coils
Nice one Tom....
the Buell 1125 engine is manufactured by Rotax....may be that coils from other marques fit too (Aprilia/BMW ??)
Do you know the part numbers at all ??

Re: coils
Also ducati 1098 fit directly as they have the fly lead. Same coil as 1198 and 848.
The old ducati 749/999/999s coils fit , but i think they may or may not have an electrical fly lead like the morini.
Some pics online show the 749/999 coil with a lead and others without. Probably related to model years
Only know as my bike was off the road when i first got it waiting for coils for quite a while.
the good thing about the ducati 1098/1198/848 coils is no adapter leads are needed as its a straight swap with long fly leads already fitted just like morini's

Re: coils
just checked the buel coils.
they have a very thin sleeve that slides off and then they fit in the morini fine. the original seal needs to be taken off the old coil. The sleeve is so thin that its hard to even guess it comes off.
They have a 3 pin supaseal type connector , thus a 3 pin female would be required to make a fly lead.
I'll post a pic later
