When 3x did my speedo the service receipt which I got back had the mileage at speedo change. If you didn't get that info from your dealer at the time I don't know how you would get it now as the speedos presumably get sent back to morini or are destroyed.

NLM did my speedo in July 2008. As I bought the bike second hand from another dealer I was just pleased to find a dealer willing to do the updates for me. I have bought a 3 1/2 from Stuart since so good customer service does pay in the long run. As to whether a true mileage is important I take the view that it rarely matters particularly with Morini's.

Twisty,
I think I can get hold of Richard from tecmoto, if I can I will ask him if he has any paperwork for your bike.
When he changed my speedo as a warranty update he put the original milage on the paperwork he gave me.

Three Cross have just done my 27 point update inc the new speedo. They showed the old mileage on the receipt showing the work done and I'm happy with that.

As an aside I have found them to be knowledgable and helpful and will certainly be going back there, not that I have much choice as all the dealers nearer to me have stopped selling Morinis, I did use Red Dog in Sussex and now have a 180 mile round trip to Three Cross.

The price of exotica.... :lol:

Both;

The Silverstone dealer (they are right by the track entrance) are keen and were pleased to see me as a MRC member. They had 3 or 4 Morini in stock, but were (are?) waiting on the Factory resolution before pushing them hard. They do Guzzi, Ducati and others as well, and so I would guess that they know about Italian machinery.

The SE is very poor in terms of dealers, so it's worth trying to support the ones that remain!

Good riding,

CC

I'm in Surrey just south of London so Silverstone and Three Cross are about the same though the journey to Three Cross is easier.
