dyno results......

Post by franky »

Well fueling was all over the place.... in the first 4500rpm at some points it was over fueling by nearly 20%!! At the top end it was only a little off.

Had the bike mapped every 250rpm and at all throttle positions including a economy map at 40% and below.

I've got a video which i'll put up soon and some pics.

End result was 137bhp at the wheel, about 10bhp up where there were dips that have been filled, a 100bhp at the wheel around 6000rpm and a flat torque curve any triumph owner would be proud of.... basically 4-9250rpm it was flat at 85lb/ft at the wheel. :)

On the road the bike is transformed, so smooth.... roll on in gear acceleration is now amazing. 3rd gear at 30mph no problem. Not sure on fuel usage yet but as it was running so rich it should be much better. Easier to ride and liquid smooth drive about 3000rpm onwards.

Looking at power and torque curves of other twins against the corsaro.... us lucky few are about 20bhp rev for rev over a superduke/tuono.

If anyone is thinking of having their bike sorted I'll highly recommend Torque tune near Nottingham/Newark.

All in a very very happy owner. I'll keep you posted on how the mpg has increased.
