Veloce Dyno run

Hi Guys

Took my veloce for a dyno run last weekend before I start fettling, I had a maximum of 127bhp at the back tyre and 82ftlb of torque how does this compare with others? At the moment I'm just running the open cans with the race ECU but am going to fit a de-cat and power commander III soon. How easy is it to get the de-cat I guess you get that from maniac motors in Germany I don't know how simple it is to order from them as I can't read German :? . I have noticed an annoying trend for my bike after a fast blast if I get in traffic it cuts out which is a pain in the butt when filtering through. I will get the PC III mapped for the bike and expect this will solve the problem as factory settings are never perfect across the range.

have fun

Tim

with the race ecu and open cans you should be about 131-3bhp at the rear wheel.

you can get a full set of termi downpipes for not much more than a de-cat pipe will cost. Give pdq a call.

Thanks Franky. It will save me a quid if I cut the Cat out.Obtain a lenght of the same material and have it bent and moulded to replace the Cat.Cut the Cat sounds like a old Average White Band song .Im showing my age remembering that far back.

The termi downpipes are also upto 4mm bigger too, not to mention they hug the engine better which really makes the 'V' of the engine look great. They also use a spring arrangement instead of the 1970's clamps!

Need to get it set up now though as its a little rough low down.
