TPS Reset

Post by dtherrien »

Greetings All,

We purchased a crate corsaro 1200 engine from moto morini back in 2007 for our 3 wheeled reverse trike design and we need some help since we believe this engine hasn't been fully tuned.

Would anyone be able to send us the TPS readings on the back of the connector at idle, our engine is running very rich right now.

We have VDSTS software but don't have a base line when we turn ours down it is .400mv is this correct with the throttle plate fully closed and just catching.

Thank you
Dan

sorry no one replied, it's too technical for me (too old)

Would be interested to see a picture of the trike though :P

Hi Twisty,

I was looking for people with a Corsaro 1200 bike that can give me their TPS readings at idle so that I may compare ours.

We are running at .650mV

Cheers

Cheers,

The most accurate way for us to get the values is to remove the air box and on the back of the TPS at the connector stick in a volt meter in the back of the connector and turn the key on and measure at the top two pins there should be a value of .400 ma to .800ma if you go to the outer most pins the reading should be close to 5 Volts.

That would help greatly.

Thanks
Dan
