Guys;
For a while back before 2006 Moto Franco Morini made the engines for the Benelli triple. So it's no surprise that there could be some common parts.
The story has it that Morini told Benelli that the engine could be made better, but Benelli insisted that they wanted it built as designed (well, you would, wouldn't you). It ended up with a few problems, not the manufacturers' fault. Only a story, you don't know what is true on the web...
