Fuel Filter

Post by DaveH »

Have just pulled the fuel pump assemby on the Corsaro as part of the fettling it's getting at the moment.

For information, the fuel filter is the same as used by BMW models.

You can either buy them from Motorworks or cheaper at OPIE OILS if you register as a member (free)

The filter is a MAHLE KL145 and costs about a tenner.....

did you need new hose clips for the filter , or is it possible to fit the old ones back on.

You'll need new ones...they are the crimped on type but also have a small staked tab which is difficult to remove without destryoying the clip...

Use 10 mm stainless fuel pipe clips, NOT Jubillee clips as they don't offer the same 'all round' purchase on the pipe.
