Tried and tested

Post by Dave »

Picked up the Corsaro last Tuesday, Brian had done all he could to find a fault and couldent the bike had literally self healed. He posponed returning the bike to me so that he could really road test it and reluctantly he handed it over to me. Bearing in mind that i hadnt riden the bike since August I was a little wary of it but it soon became apparent that it was well down on power. Next thing i noticed was the rev counter would not go over 7000 rpm but strangly at standstill it showed zero revs something was not right. At a fuel station on the way home the battery warning light came on and sussed the probable cause, a loose battery connection. Got the bike home down on power and sure enough negative terminal very loose, tightened it up and put on the optimate. Today Sunday fired her up and in 2 degrees of heat and fog I did twenty miles with full power my baby is back and the grin factor has returned, its just a question of for how long.
