Up and running

Thanks guys for all your help and ideas they were all of use to us and they were all acted upon. Heres the punchline the bitch is up and running and we dont know why because EVERYTHING checked out fine. The relays were a red herring and are all OK. The fuel tank has no water or crud in it. The fuel pump and filter are OK and the fuel return valve is fine. The air filter was washed dried reoiled and re-installed it wasent even dirty to start with. The injectors were examined and the bypass hole was checked all fine. The thermostat, engine temperature sensor and air temerature meters were all checked and found to be working fine. You cannot do a compression test because an automatic decompression thing kicks in and there are no figures available as to what it should be but both chambers gave the same reading all be it a bodged reading. The right hand cooling fan is OK and the ECU has also decided its OK so we are in agreement with that one. When we installed the Termi ECU we were able to set the CO and we thought we were on to a winner but the bike was impossibly difficult to warm up to 35 degrees but it run beautifully when warm. As a last resort we went back to the factory ECU and hey presto the bitch is running fine.
We havent replaced a thing all we have done is take apart clean and inspect or test as needed. The bitch fired up idled warmed up and ran as if nothing happened. I am still waiting for another dry day so that BRIAN my mechanic can give it a good shakedown and hopefully hand her back to me. This all started in AUGUST and im looking forward to getting some miles up this winter. I would like to thank Twisty, Dave H, vtxbrit. Morini Tom and franky for all your help every one of your suggestions was tried and tested but in the end it fixed itself for the meantime im more than a little untrusting of the bitch only miles on the road will overcome that.
