Hi, I'm PVC from Kortemark in the West-Flanders in Belgium.
I'm currently owner of a 1995 Ducati Monster 600 and a 06/2005 Triumph Speed Triple with 85.000km on the clock.
Time to experience something new, I'd say...so I've set my mind, heart, ears and wallet on a Corsaro (with some options).
I used to ride some 45k kilometers per year and only started riding less after my knee operation, a year and a half ago.
On top of that, the Speed Triple's had it with me...that bitch just can take so much, you know, and though not ready to be put out to pasture she will be my sunday rainy day ride until her death do us apart.
Why ffs the Morini?
First off, I'm a naked bike kind of guy... well, Morini is...just the right stuff I guess.
Secondly, I'm kind of used to a good mixture of torque and hp, slightly tending towards liking it to happen in the lower revs quite a lot....I guess, the stable of a Corsaro will drive me mad,...I hope.
Thirdly, I could never ride a thirteen in a dozen CB1000R or a FZ-1 or a Z1000. All fine bikes but just like some porn, these kind of bikes simply don't seem to "do it" for me. I guess the Corsaro has that little edge of being a headturner as well as being a big question mark in the heads of many bikers...though I don't want to pay 20.000€ for a bike neither to ride something a little more exclusive. The Morini legacy is (however not as spectacular as the MV Agusta's palmares) quite inspiring.
And, I have looked for days through the store's window at that Veloce and Avio...until my wife said, let's go in the store and have you mount one....

It immediately went from bad to worse...and luckily my wife agreed on finding in the Corsaro a Speed Triple worthy successor. We nodded at each other.
So, hopefully this weekend, I'll be testriding the Veloce at Citymoto in Handzame, Belgium, decide on whether to put GPR's (budget friendly) or the Termignoni's (which Terminate my budget), cut the crap and will then proceed in actually buying one.
I just hope I have less mechanical issues than with my Speed Triple.
That's the major reason I've joint here... to check out, share and discuss known flaws of the Corsaro.
Well, that's about it for now. C'ya!
