Finally became the owner of a Corsaro Veloce last week, she's a beauty to say the least. I never thought I'd have the oppurtunity to own one of these machines as it's been my dream bike since they first launched and before I was even old enough to get my license.
With a couple of breakdowns, the first week hasn't went as smoothly as I'd have liked. Wires had chafed through and were shorting on the frame blowing relay fuses anytime I turned right. Second day got low battery warning light as reg/rec plug kind of melted. Third day the speed sensor began acting up giving me the engine fault light. Although I've had some troubles I can't say I've ever had a bike like this before.
The bike is tidy and only has 5k miles on the clock, but had not been on the road for 6-7 years. So I'm hoping with these issues fixed were going to be good from here on out.
I was just looking for some input on the speedo button as mine does nothing. I'm stuck with engine temp, clock on wrong time, odo and engine hours. The button switch clicks fine just does'nt do anything. I've read up on the problems with the clocks, so should I open them up or just stay clear and stick with what I've got?
