I think in privately importing the bike would make a rod for your own back.
I totally disagree with the comment on 'the rubbish support given by the UK importer'.
3X have given a number of owners on this forum a good service and during my period of Corsaro ownership they gave me an excellent service and as good as any other dealer has during my 27 years of riding and 62 bikes and
worthy of note: any major car franchise.
There is clearly more to your circumstances with the Veloce and sorry that you feel as you do.
As to your bike 'blowing-up' I'm sure we'd be keen to know how and why?
Nobody else across Europe has managed to do this -Even the worst of the bike magazines.(Who have crashed them).
Are you posting on the Gixxer sites about peeling stickers, poor quality paint and fasteners. low re-sale values? and giving Suzuki GB a hard time?
If you import your own bike to the UK: you will still have to deal with 3X for any warranty work or through a dealer, supported by them.
If I seem a bit hard it's because IMHO your comments could well put-off potential buyers and at least as far as Morini is concerned: 3X don't deserve a kicking.
Hope you take this in the right spirit and safe riding!

Stephen, how on Earth can you say you disagree with my comment on the rubbish support?
You seem to think you know a lot about me and what I am about but you know fuck all. Your precious 3X gave fuck all support to me via my dealer.
The Veloce I had let go, big style.
It had had previously 2 oil leaks, a head gasket failure been back to Morini for a rebuild and it still let go so I take offence to your comments.
It was a brilliant bike let down by shocking build quality and back up service.
Search back a couple of pages and you'll see the pics and the dyno run.
But, you seem to know everything don't you? Idiot.
