If you look again, it's still producing 75lbs/ft at 9,000 rpm...............
I wonder how many Veloces there are in the country?
It is fast as fook but in the wet it was averaging 21mpg. I'd reckon on high teens when riding flat out during the summer. That means I'll have to refill every hour.
120+ gets hard work as you will all know but the sound of the Terry Wogan exhausts without the baffles is truly violent; not dissimilar to an airwaves Ducatti
Having a go on your bike certainly sold it for me.
Really impressed that it still felt really tight (much more so than my Tuono) despite a few thou on the clock. My test ride was cut a bit short when the fuel light came on the way to brecon, but it was long enough to decide I wanted one. Was blown away with the smoothness of the awesome engine.
Just waiting for this crappy weather to clear so I can put some miles on mine - roll on 1000km so I can open her up
I'm sure we'll hear each other passing with the tergi's booming
Hi Morinisti,
It's a long time ago I posted something , but still alive & kicking ..
as the Corsaro !
here the latest evolution after a tuningcure in Nürnberg.
Hmmmmm, would sort out my over fuelling issues too
Mind you, the Veloce needs some kind of screen before I start spunking money on more power as travelling much over 100mph is too much like hard work and 120 is a real challenge to the neck muscles!
It would be interesting to get a comparitive plot on the same dyno with the standard Veloce 'LOUD' set-up:
Race ECU plus no baffles in the Tergi's.
I would hope its some power improvement over standard Corsaro given the price premium. The baffles in the Tergi's look very restrictictive so they cant be helping things much.
the difference between with or without DB killer will be felt on the top t/mins but only if you use the added race CPU with the Termignionis.
I had a gain of +-4 PS from the stock to the termis(: one had the db killer out to allow entering the Co sond. )That's under condition that your stock fuel mixter is a flat line over the whole t/m range : the Corsaro are mostly too rich over the 6000t/m level. The Powercommander gets this under control. Do not compare too hastely dyno curves to eachother untill they made on the same type powerbank with the same output (scale and measurementspoints) .
My Run at Martin's is with the race ECU and the full noise Terry Wogan exhausts.
I reckon with a PC3 and a decat I could expect another 10hp but as I mentioned earlier, it is all fairly pointless as the bike accelerates so fast as it is that you are struggling against wind blast after 110.
I need to get a bikini screen for it as that would help tremendously.
A decat and PC3 job is gonna cost at least £500 and apart from the braggin rights is not good value in my opinion.
Good to see that you guys are really in to the Corsaros!
Real World Bikes in Abedare - did either of you both buy bikes there and are they good? Might be aiming to have a MRC ride out there in the Spring of 2008 - any interest?
South Wales is a bit far / too much motorway for me from Berkshire, but come Spring it looks like a decent run in prospect (if I can keep up on a mere standard Corsaro...)
