Clutch adjustment

Post by Tinker »

Hi folks as far as I can tell there is no clutch adjustment apart from the lever away from the handlebar! Is this correct? Thanks

Daft question but does your clutch feel the same as the brake until the play is used up? My clutch feels hard from about 5mm play at the lever end whereas the brake feels softer with more play and a more gradual build up of pressure. Clutching at straws until my new plates arrive from Motohub (sorry bad pun) but I am wondering if it is a cylinder issue causing the clutch to slip as the last time out it was like riding an automatic from almost no throttle!

Hi...
Only the lever on the handlebar adjustment.
Is the fluid in the clutch master cylinder discoloured?
Sure sign of moisture ingress & a change of fluid + the rubber seals need replacing on the banjo bolt.
Done mine twice now & then i purchased an Oberon slave cylinder (yet to be fitted) & hopefully this will
stop the greyish sludge.

This could have bugger all to do with your plates, but
thought this maybe an easier task to replace than the actual clutch disassembly. :D
