Has anyone ridden a desert X, its looks on paper to be similar weight as the Gp, I still think the GP is hard to beat and that includes the current new crop of adventure bikes, and thats quite a few.
I did see somewhere that Morini are looking to reintroduce a new GP WITH THE VEE MOTOR. There Xcape whilst being great value and looks good, is tooooo heavy and has a soft motor another parallel, which is useful if not inspiring.
its all getting a bit to sensible and euro compliant, there is still a future for Lambertinis master piece.

Drop in on MotoHub at Stoke on Trent - they can probably tell you more about the 1200 X-Cape (as its being branded) and you can aso look over the range of 650 twins...
As you say, to those of us with the appropriate bias, nothing beats the Lambertini 1200 twin!
Good riding in 2023,

Hi Chris
Thanks for the update, let’s hope it’s not an over weight adventure bike, it would be good to keep the trellis frame with the motor, such a wonderful combination.
I am hopeful as it would be good to update my bike at some point in the future.
