I’ve not replaced or looked for a similar alternative so can’t help here!
Given the lack of replies I assume nobody else has either!
It’ll be a fairly standard trim strip of some sort but finding it is easier said than done!
The strip does normally come off the panels ok so it can be moved between panels

Re: Remanufactured bodywork
Yeah, I think if I go looking in an olde-worlde hardware store I'll find something similar, no problem. But like you say, I'm not sure it's actually necessary anyway!morini_tom wrote: ↑05 Aug 2024 18:44 <snipola>

All that said, I'm having huge problems getting the bodywork to fit around the tank anyway. I can get the rear panels on, with quite a lot of hacking and cutting to clear the footrest hangers. But there's no way I can get the seat to fit - the bodywork just doesn't fit at the back of the tank - I can't get anywhere near lining up the bolt holes that align with the bracket where the tank lock sits. Similarly, I can also mount the side panels, but then I can't get the tank cover to line up anywhere near the locking point if the rear panels are fitted. It's all a bit perplexing - I'm sure I just need to be a bit more brutal with the angle grinder

Ta,
