I don't suppose anyone has ever replaced the swingarm bearings in their dart have they?
My swingarm is away for painting at the moment, I left the old bearings in to protect the surface during blasting and repainting, but having had a trial go at removing the bearings from a freccia swingarm I have, I've now realised they're not coming out without a bit of a fight.
Given the swingarm has just been resprayed I don't want to damage the paintwork with too much heat or 4lb hammering. I tried drawing it out with a bolt through a steel plate but the plate bent.
Annoyingly the bearings were in good condition but I told the painter not to worry about protecting them as I thought they'd be easy to replace!
suggestions?
