I'm off for another Isle of Man adventure in July. Now while I love the Isle of Man this puts me at a disadvantage in some ways. Firstly this trip will be without a bike, and secondly I'm also missing the MRC's rather brilliant trackday. I'm sure you would all agree that this equates to me being under privileged or cruelly deprived in todays world. So I'm asking a massive favour which I will be happy to repay in some way to anyone who can offer me some respite from the 'On the Island without a bike' torture. I would love to do some trail riding while I'm over, not a whole lot as I'm meant to be looking after my Mum and Aunt whilst they enjoy an Island holiday (I haven't told them we are there for the Southern 100 races too)
So if you are willing to lend a mature sensible rider (or even me perhaps) a suitable bike for a day or two between 30th June and 12th July I would be suitably grateful and willing to reciprocate in some way. Of course it doesn't have to be a Morini-yes I'm THAT desperate.
Or if you are going over for the Southern 100 period and have space for my Morini Camel that too would be wonderful.
The last time I did this I ended up buying a bike while I was there...that was great but not very sensible.

Sorry I can`t help you, but I hope you realise just how lucky you are being able to duck over to IOM without having to mortgage the house to get there
My only suggestion is try to get in touch with Mr Guy Martin. He might have a bike or 2 he may lend you
Good luck, and believe me, I wish I were there too ! One day.....

Guy lives the other side of our island and isn't taking much interest in the IoM these days. He's said no to the TT but I wonder if he'll be tempted by the Southern 100 again? Saw him there a couple of years ago.rossguzzi wrote:Sorry I can`t help you, but I hope you realise just how lucky you are being able to duck over to IOM without having to mortgage the house to get there![]()
