The new 650 Morini
Re: The new 650 Morini
830mm seat height (but possibility of 815). No details on weight. As they say on Dragon's Den - "I'm out!"

Morini needs to encourage newer, younger owners. Looks like a good start to me.
Maybe us oldies need to remove our rose tinted testicles?

Looks a bit 1200ish
I think we all want a small v twin with 50bhp, painted red and black with gold wheels...

Re: The new 650 Morini
The first one looks ok to me. A lot like a CB500X or an NC750 and they sell pretty well.
All donations to the rest home for old Camels, Leicestershire.
Re: The new 650 Morini
The styling doesn't put me off. I don't care what colour it is, so long as it is under 170Kgs and has a sensible seat height. I'm not even fixated on a V twin. A 600 single would do, so long as it was a Lambertini design.MickeyMoto wrote:Looks a bit 1200ish

Market success will depend on the price. If it's as cheap as an Enfield Himalayan they might sell a few.

Re: The new 650 Morini
Lambertini design won't happen. We need to move along from there. As for weight, not sure where we are. Tried a KTM 390? 154kg wet, 800mm seat height, 165kph top end. Stops, handles and has an electric foot. Is this the sort of thing Morini should make? Yours for £4,750.00. Also needs a 125 to attract the youngsters, although bikes will be banned soon. Auto drive cars and governments who don't like people being individual will see us off.
Re: The new 650 Morini
So far I've only sat on a KTM 390. I may replace the ER6n with one in the spring.

Pass the sick bag, Alice... I'll stick with what I've got, I think.
Re: The new 650 Morini
A bit more info in English. Except the author doesn't seem to know the difference between a V twin and a parallel twin!

Possibly 7000 Euros according to one of the Youtube videos . More than a Kawasaki Z650!

Allegedly designed and built in Italy. The motor does look like the CFMoto, an engine that has been thrashed around the IoM in Super-duper Twins. I notice CFMoto now offer a 700!
Under €8k, better get saving, it looks really nice.
