Speedo kph to mph converter
Speedo kph to mph converter
Can any body tell me if I can get a mechanical kph to mph converter for my 76 Strada ?
I used to have one on an Xt 550 that worked well a few years ago but can’t seem to find any available now,
Thanks barney

Always best to phone as they don't list everything on their web site and searching without a reference/part number is a nightmare

Thanks for the reply, I did see those but like everybody else that lists them they are all saying out of stock so I presumed there must be a problem with whoever produces them, might be worth a phone call though
Thanks barney

Re: Speedo kph to mph converter
I used a self adhesive dot at appropriate points until my brain made the kmh / mph transition automatically.
Re: Speedo kph to mph converter
Good shout, funny enough I was just looking at someone who had done a printed face with markings on the overlays the speedo
Thanks for the reply

Re: Speedo kph to mph converter
There is a thread about a 3D printed conversion scale here:

And I have printed on the reverse side of OHP inkjet film to convert my 250 speedo. Sadly only able to print in black to get it to show up (other colours were too feint), and it is not moisture resistant: On my 250 a converter gear would mean only using half of the speedo scale.

Re: Speedo kph to mph converter
wouldn´t it be smarter only to mark the two or three speeds you realy need a bit more decent with a permantent marker?
Re: Speedo kph to mph converter
Thinking about it, all the Morinis I owned were doing 10mph with the engine stopped and the speedos were all vague liars, so accurate markings really need to be taken by GPS.
Re: Speedo kph to mph converter
I think your right about marking it with just the ones I need, and yes ming you are right, just been to look in garage and it’s doing 10mph on the bike ramp switched off
Re: Speedo kph to mph converter
The two speedos un my actual biker allways indicate 10 km/h more than the Real Speer, at 30 or 130 km/h. That are usual Vegli farirytales. But it Makel US faster
Re: Speedo kph to mph converter
My 350 is 10 mph out too. Always has been and has the original speedo.
