Hi,

I had a bit of a mishap yesterday with the ignition switch and shorted the red wire to earth. A lot of smoke later and I have about 150 ohms between the +ve and -ve battery leads. When I remove the regulator / rectifier this disappears. Have I blown the thing?

Sounds as if it was not too happy! I have found that a Suzuki SV / Bergman reg rec is about the same, but needs the connector changed to fit the Kokusan orientation (and it's freely available).
