What a lovely day out. Weather good, cafe a revelation. Five members, four bike, three V twins, two bacon rolls and a tired v twin with droopy cylinders.

We played spot the Morini.

Is there time for another meet up before Christmas?

Hello Norbert,

The temperature was around 9 centigrade, but was cooling in the afternoon. I envy you, as here we now have to rely on the wind to dry the roads!

Anyway, my German engineered motorrad has heated seats and grips and I was nice and warm.

The meal was a stack of pancakes with butter and maple syrup. A favourite for breakfast in North America. The food was very good, something any meeting should aim for.

This year we have been to:

March - Selkirk and the Waterwheel Tea Room
April - Jim Clark cafe, Duns (want to know why Jim Clark, Steve Hislop and Colin McRae were motorsport legends? (All sadly no longer with us). Ride around the Borders!)
May - The Terrace Cafe, Floors Castle, Kelso.
June - Rumblin' Tum cafe, Moffat
July - Old School Cafe, St. Abbs.
August - Isle of Man
September - Aroma Cafe, Biggar
October - Touchdown at the Madhouse, Fife International airstrip, Glenrothes.

All have served excellent food. Apart from March and October my Strada has done sterling service visiting these venues. Check, thrash repeat. Am I supposed to wash it?

That's how it should be, these bikes have to be moved!
Washing them is much overestimated
