After contacting the Chairman, Tom, and informing the committee by email, I intend to re-boot The Marches Section which has been dormant since my good friend James Bowen stood down from organising. The section will meet every last Thursday of the month starting in April (24th) from midday. The venue every month will be The Powis Arms, Lydbury North, Shropshire, SY7 8AU. This will minimise organisational issues for myself and everyone will know where to be on that day ! Many riders may know the venue from attending the annual Marches Moto Italia which I help organise with James. I will be the contact. You can get in touch with me via the forum. My mobile / email contact should become available when printed in ATG I believe. There will be NO WhatsApp group.
Hope many of you can ride over as it is a lovely area. Food, drinks, covered outdoor area and cosy interior all waiting plus if you want to make a long weekend out of it a very nice campsite !

Hi Robin, check my post. Our meets start officially last Thursday in April,the 24th. Your post suggests you are coming next week, Thursday the 27th. March ? Bugger it …….. let’s start next week anyway ! Myself and James were thinking of having an impromptu meet anyhow. So everyone come on down, Thursday 27 March, and let’s get the ball rolling !

It is a recent purchase by Sean the new owner. Until recently it belonged to Kieth Prentice the present ILOC chairman.

Yes, I thought so. The last photo I saw of it was in the back of a van being taken away by the new owner!

Keith keeps his bikes well. I have tried to get him on a Morini, but says he prefers Teutonic efficiency and Italian agricultural machinery.

I will be seeing Kieth at our next meet perhaps or definitely at our annual Marches Moto Italia 1st June. Why don’t you come up with him ? You maybe have already attended in previous years. It’s a great day. Recently ive been singing the praises of Morini’s on rhe Laverda forums, in particular the 500s. Yes I have an agricultural triple beast !

I will get to the Marches Moto one day. Unfortunately I live 360 miles away from Keef, but will be seeing him in two weeks before we have a pootle around the Lakes and Dales. Last time I visited him my Airhead won furthest travelled at the Airhead association meet, beating a Dutchman who was a tad miffed!
