I’m planning on a nice non-motorway journey to this event on my MK5 Strada (July picture in the 2024 calendar). I live in Rotherham, beside J33 M1 and will be very happy for any other riders from the area-or on the journey down- to ride in. I’ll post a couple of times nearer to the event but I’m looking forward to meeting some of the great folk that run the club, and some members!
I envisage setting off from home around 7.30 to arrive a couple of hours later, should be a good day!

What are the arrangements for this?
I did say himself and I would do would bring a couple of bikes along some time ago but can't recall to who and when but probably at Bristol show.

If you are offering to bring a couple of bikes to Founders Day, the thing to do is send a message to the Morini Riders Club volunteers who are bringing it all together.

No worries. The address was tucked away at the end of the Chairman's Message on page 3 of the latest ATG.

Apparently the club have a large stand to fill and are looking for a couple of dozen bikes to display. Ideally one good example of every model plus anything else slightly out of the ordinary.

As you may know, Founders Day is always organised by the local VMCC Taverners Section. Chatting to Morini rider John Parbery the other day, (who is also in the Taverners Section), apparently there are a few people in the VMCC who are/were unaware that Morini ever made singles! 

So, if anyone out there has something a little different... Morini custom bike, 250 single, 3½K2, race bike etc.. which they would like to display, please send a message to...

I'm advised the stand is full so I've missed the boat this time. Not to worry, it will leave me totally free to have a good wander round!

I am planning on setting off about 9ish from the Brentwood area on my 250. Probably be boring and take the M11 and then the A14 if anyine wants to meet and join me?

Well Founders Day was a great event despite the weather doing its best to disrupt things. More than 30 Morinis on the stand, with bikes covering 1948 to 2024!
