I'd love to be there this weekend but like the AGM weekend other commitments have got in the way!! Shame really as I would have loved to have shown my Morini jumper off in the Glen again!

Many happy memories of the Scottish Rallies in the 80's alternating the long distance award with Rob Kenton.

Have a wee dram for me in the Clachaig Inn!!

See you Saturday!

Better iron my t-shirt.
More good weather than bad.
Hope you packed your travel iron, we have standards

Yes indeed, many thanks for the participation from the nine who set off from Tyndrum, and Alan for getting as close as circumstances permitted.
Anyone we didn't see, hope you didn't suffer any unscheduled breakdowns or get-offs.
Stay safe and enjoy the Morinis.

Good morning,

I hope that everybody is safe and well? It was a dreac night last night.

Unfortunately prior commitments over the weekend prevented me from meeting up at "The Green Welly" and riding onto Glen Coe.   Shame, as it is all a regular run for me from west of Perth.

Also, 'The Minx' is still languishing, with no ignition, so I would have turned up on the Ducati 450 anyway!

If there is a "next time", I will try and align the runes.

Good health, Bill

Bill,

My friend turned up on a BMW!

Saturday was beautiful, cool at first, Sunday was a bit yuk but cleared and warmed southwards. The Borders were at their stunning best and the roads were clear, unlike Friday when it was monsoon weather until after Glasgow where the Faslane radiation cleared the roads! Being chased up the Argyll coast on Friday by a Chinook was a highlight. The Dukes Pass was bicycle free!

Good to see 31/2s still being used for long trips. The X-Cape behaved itself. Nothing fell off and it sipped the fuel. Used no oil, either and the chain does not need an adjust.

The first picture is a bit distant as I couldn't see my phone screen!
