I'll be riding the Forgotten Error at Manor Farm (Dorset) on Saturday and Wiscombe Park (Devon) on Sunday. Have a good ride.

Re: Midlands area rideout 2018
A massive thank you to Les for a brilliant day on Sunday.
Some lovely roads, great company and a superb few hours at The Great Central Railways Ruddington facilities. What a warm welcome we got from everyone there. I certainly didn't think, at the beginning of the day, that we would find ourselves at the controls of a 7 1/4" guage locomotive! What an enormous bonus! As was seeing and hearing the prototype HST with its magnificent Valenta V12 rumbling away.
After riding the fabulous B6047 from Melton to Harborough and saying goodbye to the group who went on to Foxton Locks, I couldn't resist riding that great road in the oppoosite direction. I even made it back to see the Deltic and Warship doing the last services of the weekend.
Thanks again Les. Absolutely fantastic.
Jim.
