Hey George, you've summed it up perfectly. It turned out really well, shame about the weather, but it was handy that club member Dave Mason is a Scout Leader and borrowed their big marquee.

It's not often you see so many Morinis in one place and I think we made a good impression. We certainly had more bikes on show than any of the other one make clubs, (though to be fair the Taverners did give us a very big pitch).

I didn't catch everyone's name but we all had a jolly time and pulled together with dismantling everything at the end. I wasn't there on Saturday but compliments must go to those who did the setting up. George 350, your good self, should also take some credit for being the Chief Bike Shuffler on Sunday morning.

I hope someone took some good photos for 'A Tutto Gas' and other purposes.

It was a great day, shame about the weather but it could have been worse! It was great to meet everyone. I think we had 33 or 34 on the stand at one point! Sorry we didn't stay to help with the dismantling but we had left home at 5am to get there so were getting a bit weary..
Thank you to one and all who did all the organising, setting up etc etc. See you on the IOM!

Glad it was good and sorry not to make it all the way there. Stopped for petrol and fell off on a roundabout on the way back to the A14. Sadly damage is the wrong way round. 250 has a broken front brake lever and few scratches. Me: 6 cracked ribs and a broken collar bone. Just being discharged from Kettering hospital. Oh well c'est la vie.

Oh no!
Collarbones are painful in my experience! Hope that you mend well and soon!
Sounds like bike hasn't got any difficult to get bits broken which is always good news.
Get well soon,
George

Ouch!

Hope you've got plenty of pain relief.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

There was a brown 250 there which I assumed was yours. Evidently not.

Having been away from bikes for quite a few years, I have to admit that owing to the conditions I was comically slow and upright around the roundabouts.

Sorry to hear this, I know howe painful collarbone & ribs are - especially coughing or sneezing! Get well soon and may all the parts you require be easily available!

It was Arthurs brown 250 with the panniers.

Sorry to hear of your mishap, Richard.

Hope you recover as soon as possible.

In the mean time, photos of Founders Day are now available from Kevin Gunstone Photography...
