Re: weather in Scotland?

Lucky man! Here in Belgium it was snowing again this morning... Not much, but enough to feel it's not yet spring.

Re: Dutch Morini club 25th anniversary

Steve,

The guy writes that the speed limit is 60 kph and he kept to it, at least in the first part of the ride. But the video is 20% accelerated (I guess that is how it would be for Morinis on such a road).

Re: Seat re-covering etc

If you want to feel your Morini seat comfortable, first spend some time on a Ducati :P (I owned a Pantah).

Re: frames

Hi Tom,
I even spared the morini community from another excalibur by putting it's engine in my dart (twice actually )
You should be rewarded for that... but... twice... are you building a 1002 V-4 Dart ???? :P

Cheers,

Re: Dutch Morini club 25th anniversary

For those of you who want to have a look, there's a video on YouTube of a bike climbing the Posbank, the highest local mountain (110 meter - who said that in Holland a mountain is anything above sea level?) Nice place, very green, beautiful road with hairpins. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbDawxmp...

You can also try North Leicester Motorcycles. I got a kit from them.

Re: CENTRESTAND NEEDED FOR KANGURO X

Why not leaving the car out? You could save time (and maybe money) to concentrate on putting a second Morini in the garage...

Re: Forum upgrade

Hi Steve,

I found the "view posts since last visit rather useful to have an overall view of what had recently been dicussed. Now we still can find them by the colour of the icon, but I miss a bit the general info.

Nothing worrying anyhow, I like the new layout.

I'm surprized. Is there any other use for the rear brake pedal than to activate the switch?

Any help needed?

Even if I would be better at opening the Westvleteren than the engine, I could at least bring some Floreffe and good will... and the Blue Book if you don't have it.

From what I know there should be only two positions on the original Morini reserve tap: horizontal is off, vertical is on. That's how it is on mine. You might have a standard piece from any prehistoric bike without electric main tap, where the three positions are on / off/ reserve. If it is a tap fro...
